26 Apr 2016 — Wilbur Walsh started on the pole and led every lap on the way to a commanding victory in the Sebring Club Mini in Round 7 of the Tuesday night Minis series.
Walsh drove all of 26 laps total leading Nuno Miguel Abreu after being engaged by him on the first lap. Walsh controlled the race lead every lap from green flag to win.
Walsh moves up to fifth in the standings, now tied in points with fourth’s Ricardo Belo. Walsh has two starts and led 43 of his 45 laps while taking the win twice.

Tuesday night Minis series moves on to its eighth and final round in a week at Velo Citta. The series has 23 drivers competing for points in the championship.
The top spot in the series is owned by Petteri Viitala, but the remaining places in the Top 5 are an open battleground for nine drivers in the running. Csaba Lakó, Ken Jagger, Ricardo Belo, and Wilbur Walsh are all within one race of the current podium.
Miguel Abreu ran nearly all of 28 laps total leading Petteri Viitala after challenging and passing him on the fourth lap. Miguel Abreu cleared Viitala and into second place on lap 4, and controlled it the remaining 24 laps to the checkered flag.
Miguel Abreu is 13th in the standings for the series. He has one start and finished as high as second.
Csaba Lakó took fourth place.
Lakó drove the majority of 28 laps total leading Jari Bruppacher after catching and passing him on the fifth lap. Lakó cleared Bruppacher and into fourth place on lap 5, and held it the remaining 23 laps to the finish.
Lakó moves up to second in the standings, 48 points behind Petteri Viitala. Lakó has five starts and led six of his 91 laps while finishing as high as third.
Petteri Viitala took third place.
