04 Jun 2016 — Wayne Whitmore clinched the series championship with his run to second place in the Poznan Circuit Skip Barber in the fourth and final round of the TNC Racing Skip Barber Season 2 series.

Whitmore ran the majority of 12 laps total leading Rob Milliken after catching and passing him on the fifth lap. Whitmore passed Milliken and into second place on lap 5, and kept it the remaining dozen laps to the checkered flag.

The series championship was clinched this final round by Whitmore with his second-place run. Whitmore took the victory in one of his four starts, leading 16 of 66 laps total.

Nuno Miguel Abreu started on the pole and led every lap on the way to a commanding victory.

Miguel Abreu drove all of 14 laps total leading Wayne Whitmore after being caught by him on the first lap. Miguel Abreu controlled the race lead every lap from green flag to victory.

Miguel Abreu finished the series second in the standings. Miguel Abreu made three starts and led 33 of his 48 laps while taking the victory twice.

TNC Racing Skip Barber Season 2 series finished its season after four rounds spanning two months. A total of 18 drivers competed for points in the championship.

Wayne Whitmore took the championship in a tight campaign over Nuno Miguel Abreu, separated by just a handful of grid positions in the end. Whitmore led 16 laps and took a single win in four races. Nick Phillips, Rob Milliken, and Norman Bruce rounded out the Top 5.

Rob Milliken won fourth place.

Milliken ran the majority of 12 laps total leading Joseph Smith after being caught by him on the second lap. Ultimately Milliken settled into fourth the few laps running to the checkered flag.

Milliken finished the series fourth in the standings. Milliken made three starts and finished as high as third.

Dan Houk won fifth place.

Joseph Smith took third place.

Houk traded positions multiple rounds with Joseph Smith in a lengthy and determined battle for fourth starting early on, running within car lengths of each other over a span of 12 laps. Houk drove the majority pursuing Smith after being engaged and passed by him on the fourth lap. In the end Houk settled into fifth the seven laps running to the checkered flag.

Houk finished the series seventh in the standings. Houk made two starts and finished as high as fifth.
