25 Nov 2012 — Mario Rocha won third place in the Fabcar class in the Interlagos Grand-Am in the eighth and final round of the Grand-Am Sports Car Series.
Rocha finished the series 13th in the Fabcar class standings. He made one start and finished as high as third.
Grand-Am Sports Car Series finished its season after eight rounds spanning four months. A total of 52 drivers competed for points in the multiclass championships.
Fahn Thomas won the NAGT class championship, leading 209 laps and taking four victories in seven races. Barrett Erickson and Mike Erickson finished within a race of the title. Alex Freitas and Alexandru Damian rounded out the Top 5.
Fabrizio Telasio captured the Fabcar class championship, leading 316 laps and taking four wins in eight races. Ken Jagger, Paulo Martins, Rok Zivko, and Andre Martins rounded out the Top 5.
