18 Mar 2009 — Mario Rocha won fifth place in the Milwaukee Shootout in the sixth and final round of the Stock Car Shootout series.

Rocha spent all of 40 laps total leading Jim Barisoff after originally being caught by him on the first lap. Rocha fended off a prolonged attack by Barisoff in the beginning, staying just a scuff ahead of him over a solid run of 40 laps. Rocha held fifth position every lap from the start to the checkered flag.

Rocha finished the series 10th in the standings. Rocha made two starts and finished as high as fifth.

Stock Car Shootout series finished its season after six rounds spanning two months. A total of 17 drivers competed for points in the championship.

Pablo Martinez captured the championship, leading 95 laps and taking three victories in six races. Jim Barisoff, Tom Malanga, Antonio Torquemada, and Raul Pons finished out the Top 5.
