20 Jun 2010 — Mario Rocha took fifth place in the GT1 class in the 1h of Vallelunga in Round 2 of the TANAGRO Campionato Italiano GT series.

Driving the Corvette C6.R, Rocha started the race in the seventh position and caught Barney Fox for sixth on lap 16. Rocha cleared Fox and into fifth place when Fox retired on lap 17, and controlled it the final 19 laps to the finish.

Rocha is seventh in the GT1 class standings for the series. He has one start and finished as high as fifth.

TANAGRO Campionato Italiano GT series moves on to Round 3 in a week at Varano de’Melegari. The series has 17 drivers competing for points in the multiclass championships.

Francesco Micheletto leads the GT2 class championship in a tight campaign over Ernie Douglas, separated by just a handful of finishing positions. The title continues to be challenged by Samet Senturk, Sergio Costa, Carl Middleton, Nigel Middleton, and Neil Tasker as well. The Top 5 places are an open field for seven drivers in the running with four races remaining.

Jeffrey Ruskus leads the GT1 class championship in a tight campaign over Omar Gonzalez, separated by just a handful of grid positions. The title continues to be challenged by Antonio DiBenedetto, Ryan Ansoon, Tristan Bayless, Nick Phillips, Mario Rocha, Glenn Waldow, Barney Fox, and Pedro Teixeira as well. The Top 5 places are an open field for 10 drivers in the running with four races remaining.
