16 Jan 2010 — Mario Rocha captured 10th place in the P2 class in the French LMS in Round 2 of the Arunam Le Mans Series.

After starting sixth, Rocha dropped to 13th in the beginning. Driving the Porsche RS Spyder, Rocha wrestled the advantage back and forth with Neil Larson in a prolonged fight for ninth starting midway through, wrangling over a span of 38 laps. Rocha spent the majority pursuing Larson after initially targeting him on the third lap, coming from as many as six spots back. In the end Rocha settled into 10th the seven laps running to the checkered flag.

Rocha is 14th in the P2 class standings for the series. He has one start and finished as high as 10th.

Arunam Le Mans Series moves on to Round 3 in a week at Nuerburg. The series has 43 drivers competing for points in the multiclass championships.

Zak Ollerenshaw leads the GT1 class championship in a tight campaign over Caner Basol, separated by just a couple grid spots. The title continues to be challenged by Jeffrey Ruskus, George Pol, Joao Petry, Tim Brook, Kieron Peace, Dave Robinson, Donato D’Amico, Samet Senturk, Mark Carty, Jose Guerra, Ryan Burke, Abat Hernaez, and Simon Hegan as well. The Top 5 places are an open field for 15 drivers in the running with five races remaining.

Matthew Blackwood leads the P1 class championship in a tight campaign over Barry Hedrick, separated by just a couple grid spots. The title continues to be challenged by Rob Milliken, Mike Dos Santos, Stefan Persson, Gabor Abuzant, Alberto Alvarez, and Kaede Matsushima as well. The Top 5 places are an open battleground for eight drivers in the running with five races remaining.

Anton Grebennikov leads the P2 class championship in a tight campaign over Mike Erickson, separated by just a few grid positions. The title continues to be challenged by Joao Petry, Matthew Blackwood, Milan Milicevic, Ken Jagger, Matt Willoughby, John Mueller, Matej Ahacic, Neil Larson, Frans Visser, Ralph Kemmerer, Peter Bakus, Mario Rocha, Dennis Cummings, and Robson Cardoso as well. The Top 5 places are an open field for 16 drivers in the running with five races remaining.
