01 Oct 2016 — Luis Felipe Capamadjian started on the pole and led every lap on the way to a commanding victory in the Valencia GP E90’08.
Capamadjian drove all of 19 laps total leading Muhammad Rafi Hadytama after being caught by him on the first lap. Capamadjian controlled the race lead every lap from green flag to victory.
Danny Corriveau made a final pass on the last lap for a fifth-place finish.
Corriveau swapped leads multiple rounds with Porfirio Dias Santos in a lengthy and unrelenting fight for fifth starting midway through, running within an apex of each other over a span of 15 laps and changing positions five times. Corriveau drove the majority pursuing Dias Santos after catching him on the second lap, coming from as many as three spots back. Corriveau got around Dias Santos for the third time and into fifth place on his final lap.
Ricardo Gomes won third place.
Gomes wrestled the advantage back and forth with Luis Fernandes in a lengthy and determined battle for third from the middle stages, running within a turn of each other over a range of 18 laps. Gomes spent equal parts leading Fernandes after engaging and passing him on lap 9. After losing the spot on lap 11, Gomes cleared Fernandes for the second time and into third place on lap 12, and defended it against pressure by Fernandes the remaining seven laps to the checkered flag.
Luis Fernandes won fourth place.
Muhammad Rafi Hadytama took second place.
Fernandes traded positions back and forth with Ricardo Gomes in a long and tense battle for third from the middle stages, running within a bumper of each other over a stretch of 18 laps. Fernandes ran equal parts leading Gomes after being engaged by him on the first lap. Fernandes fended off a prolonged attack by Gomes in the beginning, staying just a couple turns ahead of him over an unbroken run of eight laps. In the end Fernandes lost the spot on lap 12 and settled into fourth the seven laps running to the finish.
Hadytama spent nearly all of 12 laps total leading Ricardo Gomes after being caught by him on the first lap. Hadytama held second position every lap from the start to the conclusion.
