Atlantic Motorsport driver left Silverstone iRacing with second place in division 9 of the FPAK eSports Sprint Championship, just one point behind the leader. The driver from the outskirts of Sintra started strong in the first stage of the championship, Comfortably securing the pole position.
In Race 1 (25 minutes), Jorge Cabrita kept ahead and opened a comfortable advantage over his opponents, until the 4th lap, when two cars that were going to double collided at the exit of Luffield. With the track completely barred, it was not possible to avoid the touch with the consequent exit to the gravel. Despite having practically no damage to the car, Jorge Cabrita lost about 20 seconds to return to the race, in 3rd position.
Although he made up most of the delay, the pilot did not get better than the last place on the podium.
In Race 2 (40 minutes), with the grid inverted, Jorge cabrita left 13th, but at the beginning of the 2th lap he was already the leader. Consistently, the Atlantic Motorsport driver consolidated his advantage, finishing the race with 13.506 seconds over the most direct opponent.
After the first stage, Jorge Cabrita is in the 2nd position in the championship, with one point behind the leader.
