24 Jul 2016 — Joao Botelho De Sousa took fifth place in the Moonshine Aston Martin Weekend @ Mosport 2012 GT3 in Round 4 of the Moonshine Racing Mosport Weekend Challenge series.
Botelho De Sousa swapped leads multiple rounds with Jose Branco in a pressing fight for fourth from the early stages, running within a bumper of each other over a stretch of nine laps and changing positions three times. Botelho De Sousa drove the majority leading Branco after engaging and passing him on lap 9. After losing the spot on lap 13, Botelho De Sousa passed Branco for the second time and into fourth place on lap 14, and controlled it another lap toward the finish before retiring early due to dnf trouble.
Botelho De Sousa is 15th in the standings for the series. He has one start and finished as high as fifth.
Moonshine Racing Mosport Weekend Challenge series moves on to Round 5 in two weeks at Mosport 2012. The series has 17 drivers competing for points in the championship.

The Top 5 places are an open ring for 17 drivers in the running with three races remaining.
