12 Nov 2016 — Joao Botelho De Sousa took fifth place in the ES_P2 class in the Hermanos Rodriguez Multiclass in Round 3 of the EnduRacers Endurance Series [SemiPro].
Botelho De Sousa spent all of 18 laps total pursuing Marco Matias after targeting him on lap 9, coming from as many as six places back. Botelho De Sousa got around Matias and into sixth place when Matias retired on lap 37, and held it the final 15 laps to the finish.
Botelho De Sousa drops to third in the ES_P2 class standings, five points behind John Van Der Geest. Botelho De Sousa has three starts and finished as high as third.
