04 Sep 2016 — Indra Feryanto took sixth place in the Brands Hatch Indy BTCC in Round 4 of the British Touring Car Championship [SemiPro] series.
Feryanto traded positions back and forth with Fikri Azka in a prolonged fight for ninth from the beginning, sparring over a range of 28 laps. Feryanto ran the majority pursuing Azka after being caught and passed by him on the fifth lap. Driving the Honda Civic BTCC, Feryanto launched a prolonged challenge at Azka in the middle stages, staying within a sector behind him and gaining ground over a solid run of 23 laps. In the end Feryanto settled into sixth through attrition the 22 laps running to the checkered flag.
Feryanto moves up to seventh in the standings, three points behind Imam Pratama Rori. Feryanto has three starts and finished as high as fourth.
British Touring Car Championship [SemiPro] series moves on to Round 5 in a week at a circuit to be announced. The series has 35 drivers competing for points in the championship.
Harris Muhammad leads the championship in a tight campaign over Muhammad Rafi Hadytama, separated by just a handful of finishing positions. The title continues to be challenged by Fahn Thomas, Marcos Kornievicz, Arwin Taruna, Imam Pratama Rori, Indra Feryanto, Haitham Abdelkader, Gilbert Eman, Fabio Pereira, Jozsef Rebok, Alan Rasman, Porfirio Dias Santos, and Jose Dorta as well. The Top 5 places are an open ring for 35 drivers in the running with two races remaining.
