15 Oct 2016 — Making his 20th start in the Skoda Octavia ’08, Everett Dumont drove to a eighth-place finish in the Suzuka – East Skoda ’08 in Round 2 of the Skoda Challenge – Simulation Racing Pilipinas series.
Dumont drove nearly all of 11 laps total leading Joao Botelho De Sousa after being caught by him on the third lap. Ultimately Dumont settled into eighth the lap running to the checkered flag.
Dumont is 12th in the standings for the series. He has one start and finished as high as eighth.
In the 20 career runs taken by Dumont in the Skoda Octavia ’08, he has led 26 laps in all and taken the victory once.
Skoda Challenge – Simulation Racing Pilipinas series moves on to Round 3 in a week at Vallelunga – Club. The series has 14 drivers competing for points in the championship.
Luis Moreno leads the championship in a tight campaign over Fernando Silva, separated by just a handful of finishing positions.
