Diogo Silva took the Autódromo Virtual Boavista – GT Competizione #58 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 to victory in Round 1 of the Atlantic GT Series, last Sunday at Donington Park, on RFactor2. The portuguese sim racer led the 50 minute race from lights to flag, adding to that the fastest lap, in 1m26.868s, as well as the pole position (1m25.427s).
Matthieu Decrop was second, behind the wheel of the #976 Onemove Esports McLaren 720S GT3, finishing 16.484s behind the race winner.
Maciej Bekas completed the podium of this GT3 race, driving the #998 MB Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3.
The first of the six rounds of this championship, hosted by eSimSports took 31 cars to the British track. The next round is scheduled to take place at Monza (20 October).
