20 Aug 2016 — Daniel Gomez captured second place in the Spa Francorchamps GroupC in Round 3 of the Historic Prototype Series [SemiPro].
Gomez drove all of 19 laps total leading Ken Jagger after being engaged by him on the first lap. Gomez controlled second position every lap from the green flag to the finish.
Gomez remains in the lead of the standings, increasing the lead over rival Dino Paolini to 20 points. Gomez has three starts and led 17 of his 134 laps while taking the win once.
Historic Prototype Series [SemiPro] moves on to Round 4 in a week at a circuit to be named. The series has 18 drivers competing for points in the championship.
