On this last Saturday, the 6 hours of Watkins Glen was held by the iracing simulator, as usual Atlantic Motorsport was not far behind and entered the race for this great event.
Marcos Furriel and Luccas Bernardo made a great classification, dropping in P1 in the second Split (One of the most disputed), making the pole with the amazing time of 1.41:8.
The race started very disputed on the track where the temperature of the asphalt was in the range of 54 degrees, one of the biggest challenge was to fly in these conditions for more than 3 hours in a row, drivers have shown a great preparation to handle this condition perfectly, without make no mistakes.
After 6 hours, we finished in 2nd place, the first place made an excellent tire strategy in 1st stint, opening a 30 second advantage, this same advantage remained for all 6 hours.
Salo Souza and Timmy Ayres also ran in this great event, and amazingly, they made a phenomenal recovery taking Atlantic’s car to 12th place.
Congratulations to all drivers
