21 Aug 2016 — Arwin Taruna led every lap from first-place start to first-place finish in the Spa Francorchamps BTCC in Round 3 of the British Touring Car Championship [SemiPro] series.
Driving the Honda Civic BTCC, Taruna drove all of 16 laps total leading Harris Muhammad after being caught by him on the first lap. Taruna controlled the race lead every lap from start to victory.
Taruna moves up to fifth in the standings, four points behind Imam Pratama Rori. Taruna has two starts and led 16 of his 34 laps while taking the win once.
British Touring Car Championship [SemiPro] series moves on to Round 4 in two weeks at Brands Hatch Indy. The series has 34 drivers competing for points in the championship.
Harris Muhammad leads the championship in a tight campaign over Fahn Thomas, separated by just a handful of grid positions. The Top 5 places are an open battleground for 34 drivers in the running with three races remaining.
