25 Sep 2016 — April Dillon took fourth place in the PX1 class in the 1.5 Hours of Spa [Safety Car] [Weather] in Round 4 of the European Le Mans series.

Dillon started the race in the third spot and caught Matej Surhanak for second on the first lap. After starting third, Dillon took second position on the first lap and held it every lap till retiring early due to accident trouble.

Dillon is eighth in the PX1 class standings for the series. She has one start and finished as high as fourth.

European Le Mans series moves on to its fifth and final round in three weeks at Portugal – GP. The series has 43 drivers competing for points in the multiclass championships.

First place in the EGT class is owned by Barrett Erickson, but the remaining places in the Top 5 are an open ring for 23 drivers in the running. Olivier Fortin, John Van Der Geest, Fahn Thomas, Santino Cannistraci, Marius Mulder, Nuno Miguel Abreu, Felix Fortin, Glyn Jones, Marius Nicolae, April Dillon, Marcelo Aiello, Xavier Eugeni, Nick Phillips, Mark Craggs, Jerry Chen, Paolo Minniti, Kit Tarboton, Brian Fairley, Ze Jesus, Alison Valassa, and Paolo Sassaroli are all within one race of the current podium.

Roberto De Filippis leads the PX1 class championship in a tight campaign over Rob Milliken, separated by just a handful of finishing positions. The title continues to be challenged by Aaron Jackson and Kyran Parkin as well. The Top 5 places are an open ring for nine drivers in the running with one race remaining.

Paul Anstey leads the PX2 class championship in a tight campaign over Standa Sehnal, separated by just a couple grid spots. The title continues to be challenged by Rob Lawrie, David Beranek, Tom Watts, Sherwin Vd Sloot, Sam Hill, John Van Der Geest, Taner Selvi, Norman Bruce, and Felipe Anzolin as well. The Top 5 places are an open field for 11 drivers in the running with one race remaining.
