02 Dec 2016 — Alaoui Nassim controlled the top spot in the WEGTE class most of all, leading 20 of 20 laps on a run to first place in the Spa-Francorchamps ’12 Multiclass in Round 5 of the Virtual Le Mans Series.

Nassim ran all of 15 laps total leading Scott Ring after being caught by him on the first lap. After starting second, Nassim took the race lead on the first lap and controlled it to the win.

Nassim moves up to fifth in the WEGTE class standings, two points behind Roberto Boniotti. Nassim has two starts and led 20 of his 39 laps while taking the victory once.

Virtual Le Mans Series moves on to its sixth and final round in two weeks at Estoril ’88. The series has 42 drivers competing for points in the multiclass championships.

Tobias Mueller leads the WEGTE class championship in a tight campaign over Mark Carty, separated by just a handful of grid positions. The Top 5 places are an open battleground for 18 drivers in the running with one race remaining.

Ville Hartikainen leads the WEP2 class championship in a tight campaign over Brian Fairley, separated by just a single grid position. The title continues to be challenged by Ricardo Gomes, Porfirio Dias Santos, Nicolo Bertolotti, Rafael Iwata, Bruno Chacon, Toni Talvitie, and Fahn Thomas as well. The Top 5 places are an open field for 19 drivers in the running with one race remaining.
