6 hours of Sepang:“We couldn’t have done better” exclaims Angelone
Colombian said the team couldn’t be satisfied by the results, despite its making the impossible to have good results.
His declaration was optimist despite the bad results: “Yes, in general it was a good race, we were for more but something always happens to us and it harms us haha, we started 3rd, we did a last minute change in the set-up so Casanova could feel more comfortable but my first stint was complicated”.
“I was never in pace with medium tyres, so for the first stop I change to hard and recovered a little by doing 2 stints in a row with the same tyres. For the first swap, we were 3rd with a good gap between 4th and 5th.”
“After Casanova had a penalty (10sec) for cutting track, an accident plus 280 seconds of repair and there went the podium. I went in for the final stint and came back to fight for the 5th place but I had to do a splash and dash at the end and we got 6th. we had pace for a podium but that’s racing. Hoping good luck for Sebring.”
